What is Cash for Kids?

Cash for Kids is Northsound Radio’s listener charity. This year we hope to raise over £200,000 to make grants to children’s groups, organisations and projects throughout the Northsound transmission area.

Where the money comes from

There’s not a week of the year goes by without money being raised for Cash for Kids and it all comes from Northsound listeners and Cash for Kids supporters.

The Hunter Foundation

Sir Tom Hunter has given his backing to the Cash for Kids charities and pledged 4 million over the next 10 years. The cash will be used to underwrite 50% of the running costs for the charities to ensure we can help more underprivileged children across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
