Location: Stonehaven Town Hall On March 27th Aberdeen Forward is holding a ‘Give and Take day’ in Stonehaven Town Hall. If you have something to ‘give’ such as furniture, toys, gardenware, plants or kitchenware you no longer need, you can drop it off between 8.30 and noon. Those wishing to ‘take’ should attend from noon till 3pm. A delivery service for larger items will be available. Call 560360 for more information | |

Time: 16:00:00 to 20:00:00 Location: Scotland The GET ON BOARD Space Academy Art Competition was launched in December 2009 and has been sent to all 441 Secondary schools including all libraries in the Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen area. 3 Art students from Edinburgh College of Art are part of my competition team and we have made a space film for everyone to enjoy on my website. If you know someone aged 12-14, encourage them to make an art work based on Space Academy, they must apply through a teacher or instructor, and the winner will take up a full Scholarship to attend Space Academy from 1-6th Aug 2010 for 6 days at NASA Space and Rocket Centre at Huntsville, Alabama, USA. It is a fully intensive full board program, the student takes part in simulations, shuttle missions, and will learn all about NASA and space. The attachment is the flyer that has been circulated.
