For one weekend only Heriot Watt students are opening 'Pop Boutique' in the heart of Aberdeen city centre, to provide all you lovely ladies and gentleman with an opportunity to buy some exclusive pieces from some of Scotland's young, talented designers and artists. Time: 16:00:00 to 20:00:00 Location: Scotland The GET ON BOARD Space Academy Art Competition was launched in December 2009 and has been sent to all 441 Secondary schools including all libraries in the Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen area. 3 Art students from Edinburgh College of Art are part of my competition team and we have made a space film for everyone to enjoy on my website. If you know someone aged 12-14, encourage them to make an art work based on Space Academy, they must apply through a teacher or instructor, and the winner will take up a full Scholarship to attend Space Academy from 1-6th Aug 2010 for 6 days at NASA Space and Rocket Centre at Huntsville, Alabama, USA. It is a fully intensive full board program, the student takes part in simulations, shuttle missions, and will learn all about NASA and space. The attachment is the flyer that has been circulated. We will be joined by not one but TWO big players in the circuit, DOORLY (Wax:on + Ibiza Rocks) and JAIMIE FANATIC (DIM MAK + Mad Decent + Southern Fried). As well as these huge electronic dj's Flux will be joined by the kindly people from WE OWN clothing (www.weown.org). They will be providing some photographic skills by the one and only MARTY BELL as well as the odd lovely modeling a now infamous "JACK KILLS" t-shirt. As always your FLUX Residents TIM JAMES, GUS ARMSTRONG, STU TODD and TONY NICOL will be on call to make sure you're filthy needs are met. They will be punching electronic goodness through the 18,000 watts of FUNKTION ONE goodness along with the cinema sized visuals.
