Where the money goes

Cash for Kids exists to provide grants to disabled and disadvantaged children within the Northsound transmission area. Over the years CFK money has gone to help finance after school paygroups and summer play schemes, family centres, sports and music groups and respite care projects.
It has helped transform police boxes into youth cafes and to run healthy tuck shops. It has paid for drugs awareness plays and it has stocked toy libraries.
Cash for Kids helps some of the area’s large, well-established charities and many small projects which would otherwise slip through the funding net.
Beneficiaries change from year to year – some ask for a one-off grant and don’t apply again. Others apply year after year and are successful year after year.
All the Cash for Kids money is raised locally and distributed locally
