Cash for Kids has a new look and the good news is that even more money will now be winging its way into our charity funds here at Northsound Cash For Kids.

We’ve joined up with 19 other radio station charities across the UK, under the ‘Cash for Kids’ banner, in a bid to increase our funding for local communities by nearly £2.5 million this year!

An additional benefit is the news that Sir Tom Hunter has given his backing to the new group name and has pledged £4 million over the next ten years. The cash will be used to underwrite 50% of the running costs for the charities including this one here in Northsound which raised £ in 2007/08 to help sick and underprivileged local children.

By having nationally recognized brand with UK wide reach and local impact we hope we can sign up many other businesses to support our charity to make a positive impact on even more local children.
